About

Philosophy of care

I find it very important to treat each patient as a family member or personal friend. It is vital to thoroughly explain a patient's condition to them, to provide them with all treatment options and to answer any questions so they can make an informed decision and feel empowered in their health care.

Why I entered medicine

My mother was a nurse at Lehigh Valley Health Network more than 30 years. Growing up, I was inspired by her and the positive impact she had on the lives of so many patients and their families. This motivated me to pursue a health care career.

Community involvement

I was born at Lehigh Valley Hospital-17th Street and raised in the Lehigh Valley. Although I never left Pennsylvania throughout all my education and training, I am very excited to be back in the Lehigh Valley. I am a member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, and passionate about charities that support pancreatic cancer research.

Personal interests

I am blessed with a very tight-knit family, and love being with them. I also enjoy staying active and physically fit. I am an avid weight trainer and frequently go on long walks with my family. I also enjoy being outdoors and cooking healthy meals.
