About
Philosophy of care
My approach is connecting with you during pre-op to ease any anxiety you may have, and then providing you exceptional anesthesia throughout your procedure for the best experience and outcome!
Why I entered medicine
I grew up in a house full of nurses and was familiar with the language, loved hearing the stories and have always had a nurturing personality. I started in critical care and spent my early career in ICU and specialized in cardiac nursing. I decided to further specialize and become a certified registered nurse anesthetist. I enjoy high-tech, fast-paced, hands-on work. I take pride in knowing I am responsible for my patient’s safety and take my role very seriously. It has been quite rewarding.
Community involvement
As a lifelong runner I have been very involved in events and volunteering. I have also coached girls’ softball and assisted in my children’s sporting teams. I am a regular financial donor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Disabled American Veterans.
Personal interests
In my spare time I enjoy gardening, yoga, walking, reading and socializing with friends and family.
