About
Philosophy of care
Each day, patients entrust me with something most important to them — their health. I endeavor to balance the condition the patient presents to me, the patient's goals and concerns, and well-established medical practices to provide the patient with care most appropriate for their condition.
Why I entered medicine
From a young age, I knew I wanted to practice medicine. The study of biology fascinated me. Being a physician allows me to combine my desire to help others with that fascination.
Community involvement
Health conditions affect everyone, including those who have difficulty obtaining proper care. have supported organizations and participated in community events that provide care to those in need, including single mothers and their children. Because of my roots in the "hard coal" region, I also have supported organizations that seek to preserve and promote the history and sacrifices of the many thousands of individuals who, like my ancestors, worked so hard for their families and communities.
Personal interests
I enjoy sports and being outdoors.
