About
Philosophy of care
At the core of my practice is a genuine commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. The best medical decisions are made collaboratively – where patients feel heard, respected and actively involved. Every individual brings a unique perspective to their health journey, and I honor that through open communication and mutual trust. I am also a strong advocate for interprofessional collaboration. Exceptional outcomes rarely happen in isolation; they are the result of dedicated healthcare teams working in concert, leveraging one another's expertise. I am committed to being a thoughtful and engaged partner within every care team I am a part of.
Why I entered medicine
I knew I wanted to do work that added genuine value to the world and made a difference in the lives of others. Medicine provided the opportunity to do exactly that, by showing up for people during some of the most vulnerable and significant moments of their lives. Growing up with a father who worked in medicine gave me an intimate view of what that kind of impact truly looks like. Watching him connect with his patients and their families instilled in me a deep appreciation for the role a dedicated clinician can play, not only by treating illness, but also in offering comfort, guidance and hope.
Personal interests
I find balance and fulfillment in a variety of passions. Family is at the center of my life, and I cherish the time spent with my loved ones. I also have a passion for tackling home renovation projects, staying active outdoors, gardening and attending sporting events.
