About

Philosophy of care

I believe it is a privilege to care for others and that your health care journey is a shared experience between clinician and patient. As the patient, you should be given the tools to make informed decisions and confident to help create the best version of yourself. My commitment is to assist you with navigating this journey to wellness.

Why I entered medicine

My passion is people and that, combined with science, made the perfect outlet for a career in medicine. I was exposed to the health care system as a child and learned to navigate the patient side of the equation. Those experiences helped equip me in my pursuit of becoming a physician and allowed me to gain confidence in fostering patient provider relationships.

Community involvement

During my education and training, I had the opportunity to travel locally and internationally for mission trips, providing care in places such as Panama and Haiti. Being new to the area, my family and I have enjoyed getting plugged into community events and church.

Personal interests

I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children. We like going to farmer's markets and trying out new parks. I also enjoy traveling, trying new foods and spending as much time as I can outdoors.
