About
Philosophy of care
My goal as a pediatrician is not only to treat your child in a time of illness, but also to work with you, your child and the entire family on a preventative approach regarding health. I believe that with patient education, anticipatory guidance and a willingness to answer questions, a pediatrician can help a child lead a healthier life. I love interacting with children and their families to develop long-lasting relationships and trust.
Why I entered medicine
I have always had an interest in medicine and science. It fascinates me that the human body is designed to function optimally and can adjust and heal in times of illness. I have a particular interest in pediatrics because of the resiliency of children and their overall baseline health and happiness. As a pediatrician, I will work to help your child maintain those qualities. I look forward to partnering with your family for medical decision-making.
Community involvement
I enjoy spending time in the communities where I work and live. It is so important to build a foundation of community to understand a patient's backgrounds and needs.
Personal interests
When not working I love spending time with my family! In the summer I love going to the shore to relax on the beach, swim in the bay and take boat rides. I also enjoy cooking and baking, as well as watching movies.
