About
Philosophy of care
It is a privilege and honor to help guide you safely and comfortably through surgery. My experience in acute perioperative medicine and regional anesthesia places my career focus directly on the patient experience. My interventions are meant to reduce your time in the hospital and help you rehabilitate more quickly and return home earlier.
Why I entered medicine
I like to think my father steered me into medicine. Dad worked long hard days in the oilfield for over 30 years and told me to go to college and choose a career that didn't require being outside in the heat and cold. I followed his advice and fell in love with the sciences, which led me to medicine. I've never regretted listening to good advice.
Community involvement
Our charitable efforts have been related to school/education or church, as well as groups benefiting the less fortunate and marginalized members of the community.
Personal interests
I love to be outdoors with my family doing simple things, like hiking in the hills and mountains or walking along the Jersey Shore.
