About
Philosophy of care
Since all patients are unique, I feel it is really important to collaborate with you and your loved ones to assure that you can make medical decisions that best correlate with your goals.
Why I entered medicine
I've always had a strong desire to help and take care of others. Like many, I have watched loved ones battle cancer, as well as other chronic disease. At a young age, I realized that there is no greater feeling than knowing you've impacted someone's life for the better by being there for them during a difficult time.
Community involvement
As an undergrad, I was very passionate about a philanthropy called THON. THON is a 46-hour dance marathon that raises both awareness and funds for pediatric cancer patients and their families. THON allowed me to spend time with these patients and their families, and my time spent with them helped me to better understand the impact cancer has on all aspects of our patients' lives
Personal interests
I value time spent with my fiancé, family, and friends. I also love sports, being outdoors, and all things Penn State. We have season tickets for Penn State football and love spending the fall in State College
