About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is: To treat every child and family member like one of my own. To always remember that even at the lowest of lows, they are human and so am I. That at the very core, I am working with them, not for them. To remember that every person has a voice that deserves to be heard and that trust, communication and connection should be at the forefront of every office visit.

Why I entered medicine

I became a family nurse practitioner specializing in pediatrics so I could provide comfort, compassion, education and hope to children and families during difficult times. I want to make "going to the doctor's office" less of a chore, and to focus more on making it an enjoyable and empowering experience for children.

Community involvement

I volunteer at the Villa at the Sacred Heart. I enjoy attending Relay for Life. Within the last few years I have been involved with DeSales University student engagement programs as well as the Peer Vaccination Program with LVHN.

Personal interests

I love to be outdoors, swim, cook and bike. I grew up playing soccer, you can always count me in for a quick scrimmage. I enjoy spending free time with my family and friends.
