About
Philosophy of care
Our philosophy of care at Children's HealthCare is to partner with our parents for the best care possible for their children. Our total approach emphasizes preventive care, proper diet, fitness, immunizations, as well as care of acute and chronic illness.
Why I entered medicine
As a child I was surrounded by medical professionals, so it seemed natural that I should follow the same career path. Choosing to be a pediatrician was easy. Working with children and their parents in both sickness and in health is emotionally rewarding. A mutual trust between doctor and family develops and lasts until our patients have become young adults.
Community involvement
Since coming to Allentown in 1989, I have always been actively involved with numerous activities within the various schools my children have attended. Presently, I am working on the Parkland High School post-prom committee. This event provides a safe, drug-free and fun environment for the students after their prom. It is run by volunteers and generous donations from the community.
Personal interests
I love reading in my leisure time, and I belong to a local fitness club. I also enjoy photography and taking road trips with my family.
