About
Philosophy of care
I strongly believe a good physician combines medical knowledge with an ability to forge strong human connections and provides compassionate healing. I will guide you with what science has to offer and help you make health decisions while respecting your viewpoints, experiences and cultural beliefs. I understand the importance of communication in the current health care environment, and will strive to keep you and your family informed every step of the way. I want to approach medicine with the understanding that science can help us make good decisions, but sometimes does not have all the answers.
Why I entered medicine
Since childhood I have loved to care for people. It started with my own family, including my grandparents, who lived with us. That love of caring translated into a love of medicine and became a career. What I also deeply care about is building interpersonal connections based on a foundation of trust, compassion and mutual concern. My career in medicine provides me the perfect platform to pursue my interest while using my knowledge to help others.
Community involvement
I am involved with Meals on Wheels, soup kitchens and local charities focused on education.
Personal interests
I love gardening, nature travel, hiking and spending my free time with my family.

Comments
"My doctor was charming and wonderful, a very gracious and knowledgeable woman who explained everything I needed to know before my procedure. I thank her for that."
"I would 100% recommend Dr. Joshi to anyone."
"My primary care physician is no longer seeing patients I had to select a new pcp. This was my first visit since Dr Joshi is my pcp, I was a little nervous but found her to be very reassuring. She mentioned she did see me about 2 years when I needed to see a Dr prior to some surgery I was having, I had forgotten this. it was very nice she mentioned this. She spent the time needed talking with me and seemed to know my background which I appreciated. I do feel I will be very satisfied with Dr. Joshi as my new pcp"
