About

Philosophy of care

My goal as your orthopedic surgeon is making sure you understand what is going on with your body and then discussing the evidence-based treatment available to help you. Taking my time to make sure my patients are comfortable and understand everything that is going on is a priority to me. I want to work with you as an individual to make a plan that is right for you. I strive to provide quality interventions and help return you back to your favorite activities as quickly and safely as possible.

Why I entered medicine

I enjoy educating and being an advocate for individuals. That plus my interest in the sciences and the human body made becoming a physician a great fit for me. It’s also been exciting: During residency I was an assistant physician to the Houston Texans, Houston Rockets, Houston Astros and Houston Dynamo professional teams.

Community involvement

I have participated in medical missions such as to Puerto Rico for Hurricane Maria disaster relief, and plan on continuing to be involved where there is need. Locally, I am the team orthopedic physician for East Stroudsburg University.

Personal interests

I enjoy spending time with my wife, family and friends. I also enjoy traveling and playing tennis, golf and other outdoor sports. I am a proud father of two beautiful daughters. I speak fluent Spanish.
