About
Philosophy of care
My goal is to provide personalized, high-quality health care for your orthopedic needs. I will take the time to listen to you, understand your symptoms and concerns, and formulate a plan to ultimately improve your outcomes and overall quality of life. I strive to treat each of my patients the way I would a family member − with compassion, empathy and respect.
Why I entered medicine
I entered medicine because I have a strong desire to care for others and make a difference in their lives. As a child with multiple sports-related injuries, I was no stranger to the field of orthopedics. At age 15, I had reconstructive knee surgery that later inspired me to pursue a career in medicine, specifically orthopedics. I understand what it's like to be a patient, and I aim to provide the same compassionate care to my patients I received when I was being treated for my injuries.
Community involvement
During my undergrad, I dedicated over 500 hours to volunteering with Penn State's THON, which is a 46-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon that raises money for pediatric cancer. During my time at DeSales University, I volunteered at their Free Clinic at the Allentown Rescue mission to provide health care to men experiencing homelessness in Allentown. I am looking forward to continuing my community involvement in the Lehigh Valley in new ways.
Personal interests
When I'm not working, you'll find me spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy traveling, reading, doing hot yoga and practicing mindfulness. I love staying active and being outdoors, especially hiking and skiing in the winter.
