About

Philosophy of care

I strive to take care of you to the best of my ability. It is a passion of mine to see patients improve through the care provided by the entire emergency department staff. I've always felt a sense of responsibility to the communities I serve.

Why I entered medicine

My decision to enter medicine started with my childhood pediatrician. Watching him care for patients when I went for my checkups made me realize this was something I could do and get great satisfaction from as a career. I was always interested in helping people and saw medicine as a way to fulfill my dream.

Community involvement

I’m active in St. Paul's Baptist Church and help on Haiti mission trips.

Personal interests

My personal interests include running, hiking and exercise/fitness. I enjoy music and spend a fair amount of time at the opera as well as the theater.
