About
Philosophy of care
I aspire to listen to every patient with the intent of fully understanding their concerns to provide the best care and help ease their minds. My goal is to be a compassionate and understanding health care professional by handling each patient's story with the required unique approach.
Why I entered medicine
I am passionate about a fast-paced, changing environment that will challenge my knowledge, skills and abilities – all while helping others feel better and more fully understand themselves and their bodies. Medicine is a forever changing and adapting field, and I am excited to continue to learn and expand my knowledge to stay current on the most efficient ways to help my patients.
Community involvement
As an undergrad I was a volunteer EMT with a local rescue squad, providing emergency medical services to the community. I was also a member of the Make-A-Wish club, raising money to help children with critical illnesses. In 2018 I took an International Service Learning trip to Belize where I, along with seven classmates and a local physician, provided medical care to underserved populations.
Personal interests
I grew up in the Lehigh Valley, so I am a big Phillies and Eagles fan. I really enjoy being outdoors, walking, hiking, kayaking or going to the beach or the lake. Winters mean skiing or visiting somewhere warmer. I enjoy baking and trying to perfect various family recipes. I am working on my cooking skills as well.
