About

Philosophy of care

I deliver compassionate, timely and patient-centered care in moments of need. I believe in treating each patient with respect and empathy, recognizing the unique challenges they face in emergency situations. My approach focuses on clear communication, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and making informed decisions to provide the best possible outcomes. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment for both patients and their families during some of their most vulnerable moments.

Why I entered medicine

My journey into medicine began with a desire to make a direct and meaningful impact on people's lives. The dynamic nature of emergency care drew me in, where every decision can make a critical difference. I was inspired by the ability to offer immediate relief in high-pressure situations, helping patients in their most urgent moments. The opportunity to be a steady hand in a crisis, bringing calm and reassurance to both patients and their families, solidified my passion for emergency medicine. It's a field that constantly challenges me to grow, both as a clinician and as a person.

Community involvement

I have volunteered at multiple food banks and make charitable donations whenever I can.

Personal interests

Outside of work, I find balance and joy through spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I love exploring the outdoors with our dog, whether it's hiking, traveling or simply enjoying time at the park. I cherish moments with close friends and value the support and connection they bring to my life. Whether it's hosting gatherings or participating in new adventures, my personal relationships are a cornerstone of my well-being and help me recharge for the work I do.
