About
Philosophy of care
I try to treat every patient as if they are my family member. I will treat you with compassion and let you know I care.
Why I entered medicine
I’ve played softball and been around sports my entire life, so I chose a profession taking care of athletes. My play at Allentown Central Catholic High School helped earn me a scholarship to the University of Notre Dame to pitch, and there I got my pre-med degree. I enjoy helping people to feel better and return to their pre-injury status.
Community involvement
I am involved with charities that help feed the hungry, including local food banks. My daughter and have raised money for the Allentown Rescue Mission.
Personal interests
Since graduation I have coached at Central Catholic, Muhlenberg College and DeSales University, and given private pitching lessons. I now coach my daughter Riley in Salisbury youth organizations.

"Real nice loving staff"
"I loved that when I entered the Health Center's 2nd floor I was immediately addressed by the check-in person. I also loved that x-rays were located right down the hall for instant review and analysis and that immediately after my appointment I was able to go downstairs and have made braces for my hands. A true one-stop shop! The only ever so slightly negative criticism would be that the appointment information should be clear to mention going to the other end of the building (Health Center) rather than the main entrance. I stood in line for about 5 minutes to tell me that I needed to walk down the hall and take the elevator to the 2nd floor. Not a big deal at all. It was my first time seeing a doctor there."
"Yes, Melissa was absolutely wonderful with my husband and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful."
