About

Philosophy of care

I treat every patient as an individual, showing them respect and empathy. We are human beings first, and a crucial part of my job is making sure everyone feels cared for and heard.

Why I entered medicine

My passion for learning and desire to heal and aid those around me attracted me to medicine. I have always gravitated to the sciences, and blending that with improving patient health was something I strived to achieve.

Community involvement

I have been involved with the American Lung Association, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. I also work with colleagues on a Mini Med School event that demonstrates and teaches emergency medicine to high school students to promote STEM.

Personal interests

I enjoy hiking, biking and playing guitar, all of which are more fun when doing them with my wife and children.
