About

Philosophy of care

All of us will need medical care and guidance for ourselves or a loved one at some point in our lives. It is my hope that my training and skills will make a positive impact for the people whose paths intertwine with mine.

Why I entered medicine

Medicine offers me the opportunity to be amazed at the human body and how it works every single day, and to combine my love of science with helping others.

Personal interests

Being outside in nature brings me joy, and I hope to eventually visit all our national parks (more than 20 at last count!); being outside with my dog is even better! I enjoy being active and like to try different activities to spice things up. My personal reading could use a little refresher course, but it's a wonderful indulgence to sit down and read a good novel cover to cover.
