About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy of care focuses on a holistic, patient-centered approach, treating the whole person and not just their disease. I believe this type of approach allows health care providers to better understand patients and their individual needs. My care also emphasizes patient education. With the complexities of health care, it is easy to become confused and overwhelmed. The best way to avoid that is making sure patients fully understand their diagnosis and treatment plan.
Why I entered medicine
I have always enjoyed the challenge of solving puzzles, helping others and working with a team. Medicine is perfect for that because it allows me to combine these passions.
Community involvement
I have volunteered at free clinics over the past several years and feel this is a great way to help the underserved.
Personal interests
I enjoy running, playing tennis, being with others and spending free time with family and friends.
