About

Philosophy of care

I practice evidence-based medicine to provide the most updated medical care for your child. I am passionate about the importance of preventive medicine to ensure your child has the full potential to live a healthy life. In matters of illness, I take the tools I learned in my medical training to guide decision-making and minimize any potential risks with treatment. I not only include your child but also your family in discussions to provide a team-based approach to care.

Why I entered medicine

Since a young age I have been fascinated by the intricacies of the human body. Inspired by my father, a pediatrician, I was drawn to the study of medicine and the rewards of a career in pediatrics. I chose pediatrics because of the ability to follow patients from birth until adulthood and to create lasting and rewarding relationships with patients and their families.

Community involvement

As a mom, I value spending time with my own children. In my free time, I volunteer at their school.

Personal interests

I have a particular interest in the study of foreign languages. I grew up in a bilingual Italian household and studied Spanish through college. I also enjoy baking and traveling with my family.
