About
Philosophy of care
Surgery is an anxiety provoking and painful part of healing in certain situations. I believe in treating you holistically by reducing your anxiety, explaining what you can expect and adequately managing any pain. The process leads to better outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Why I entered medicine
When I was 12 my father had two lobes of his lung removed because of pneumonia. After witnessing his full recovery, I was amazed at what his doctors and nurses had accomplished to help him through such a difficult time. I knew then that I wanted to help people heal.
Community involvement
Youth are the future of our world and our communities. I enjoy working with kids, including coaching my children in youth sports.
Personal interests
I enjoy all aspects of music, including listening to music, enjoying live music and making my own music.
