About

Philosophy of care

During emergency care, patients and family members are experiencing some of the most stressful moments of their lives. Providing it effectively takes a great deal of compassion and empathy. So I strive to care for my patients as I would my own family, keeping them well informed throughout treatment.

Why I entered medicine

From a young age was interested in first aid and enjoyed helping those in need. I served my community as an emergency medical technician (EMT) after college, and that further confirmed my love for medicine. It is a unique field where science and humanity meet, demanding continuous development of technical and social skills. I enjoy continuously learning so I can deliver the best care to my patients.

Community involvement

I have been a youth league baseball and football coach as well as a Boy Scouts leader. I enjoy helping build youth teamwork and leadership skills.

Personal interests

I very much enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and golfing. I also enjoy reading in my spare time and am always seeking good book recommendations.
