About

Philosophy of care

I consider myself an educator and facilitator. It’s my responsibility to help patients understand their condition, and guide them to make health care decisions in which they are comfortable and confident.

Why I entered medicine

I’ve always had a fascination with how the body works. I wouldn’t say that I chose to specialize in women’s health. It chose me. When I was a medical student, I was awestruck when I helped deliver a baby. When I deliver a baby today, I still am. Every patient and family I care for is a new experience, and I enjoy that very much.

Personal interests

I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife, Anne Marie, also is an OB/GYN. We met during our residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network. We have a son and daughter and like to travel as a family. I also enjoy being outdoors swimming, biking, hiking and golfing.
