About

Philosophy of care

I provide patients the same care I would for my own family and never lose sight of their humanity – no matter how busy or stressful the clinical situation may be.

Why I entered medicine

Medicine appealed to me because I thoroughly enjoyed the scientific method and wanted a deeper understanding of the human body, to understand how/why pathology occurs and, most importantly, to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Helping patients improve their quality of life gives my work/career meaning. I cannot see myself doing anything else.

Community involvement

I support Global Hope International, which provides medical missions and other humanitarian aid.

Personal interests

I like weight training, jogging, snowboarding, golf, basketball, traveling and playing board and card games.
