About

Philosophy of care

I believe in providing patient-centered care based on research and evidence-based practice. I enjoy establishing a partnership with patients and families in empowering them to improve their health and quality of life.

Why I entered medicine

As a child I saw my family and friends struggle to understand their health because of a language barrier and the limited medical interpreters available at the hospital. I wanted to help others better understand their health by providing education, helping them navigate the health care system and empowering them to have better care.

Community involvement

Food bank volunteer.

Personal interests

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and traveling.
