About

Philosophy of care

Every patient deserves timely, compassionate and evidence-based emergency care. In the fast-paced and often chaotic environment of the emergency department, I strive to provide a steady presence, offering reassurance and expertise. By actively listening and establishing open communication with patients, I aim to create a trusting relationship that fosters a collaborative care plan to achieve the highest level of patient satisfaction.

Why I entered medicine

I thrive on the opportunity to make life-saving decisions under pressure, finding it both challenging and immensely rewarding. I am drawn to the diversity of cases encountered in emergency medicine, which demands a broad knowledge base and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving situations.

Community involvement

As someone who lives in the community where they serve, I am passionate about providing effective patient education, research and quality improvement initiatives that help make our community the best place to call home.

Personal interests

Woodworking, camping and supporting my kids in youth sports keep me busy outside work.
