About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy consists of treating patients as a human, rather than as a number, and in a comprehensive, holistic and unbiased manner. I advocate for my patients to provide them the best possible health outcomes. I will treat you as family and work with you to achieve your goals.

Why I entered medicine

During college, I realized nursing encompassed my passion for helping others and my love for science and learning. Later, as a nurse in rural hospitals, I found many communities lack basic health care and health education, and that disparities exist in their populations. That motivated me to become a nurse practitioner so I can educate each of my patients on their health and how to improve it.

Community involvement

I am always willing to help within my community and participate in medical missionary trips throughout the world.

Personal interests

I enjoy traveling the world and experiencing new cultures. I also enjoy learning and practicing mixed martial arts in my free time. This includes boxing, kickboxing, Muy Thai, wrestling, judo and jiujitsu. The rest of my time I can usually be found with family and friends.
