About
Philosophy of care
Nursing is a lifelong journey and commitment, requiring adaptability, continuing education and a level of excellence. A nursing career also requires frequent self-assessment, awareness and sensitivity. My unwavering commitment to a career in nursing has provided me with a wealth of knowledge and skill. It has also humbled me to know I will be a lifelong learner. My philosophy is to stay keen and competent while protecting, caring and advocating for my patients. Patient care requires treating the whole patient.
Why I entered medicine
Being a part of the health care field has been my desire as long as I can remember. It has allowed me to apply my passion in many areas (emergency medicine, critical care, forensics, plastics, electrophysiology) while cultivating skills that help me advocate for my patients.
Community involvement
I have many Lehigh Valley roots: Apart from the medical community, I’m active in school and community volunteering. I’m also a strong advocate for public education. My family and I very involved with youth sports.
Personal interests
I’m an avid book reader and enjoy poetry as well as watching youth sports.
