About
Philosophy of care
Electrophysiology is a field with complexities and nuances. I am passionate about teaching patients and helping them understand their illness and treatment options. I tailor treatment for patients on an individualized basis after getting to know them. My focus is not only treating the disease, but also helping you live your best life. Being in a procedurally oriented specialty, I am respectful of the extraordinary trust patients place in me and make patient safety a top priority.
Why I entered medicine
My interest in medicine started in high school, when I took a job working the cash register at a local pharmacy. Although I was not directly involved in patient care, I enjoyed talking to customers coming in to pick up their prescriptions. I began to learn how important it is to add that polite moment in the lives of people every day, no matter how brief. These small, yet important interactions fueled my desire to study medicine.
Community involvement
During my electrophysiology training, I traveled to the Dominican Republic as part of a medical mission to implant cardiac defibrillators in an underserved population. As I move to the Lehigh Valley area, I look forward to becoming a part of and supporting local community charities.
Personal interests
I enjoy oil painting, ballroom dance, chess, true crime podcasts and TV in my free time.
