About
Philosophy of care
I look at each patient as an individual, recognizing not everyone fits a single mold. Educating you helps fuel your independence and gives you an active role in your care. Preventive care and lifestyle medicine are important to the success of healing.
Why I entered medicine
My strong desire to help people heal led me into medicine. Early in my nursing career I realized wound care was my greatest passion because I was able to see healing firsthand.
Community involvement
I am active in my church and volunteer in the kids’ ministry. I volunteer each year at a local summer camp and like providing lectures at local colleges.
Personal interests
I enjoy time with my family, often at our house working in the yard or enjoying nature. I love being creative as well by crafting and repurposing items to give them new life.
