About

Philosophy of care

My personal philosophy of care as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) focuses on maintaining respectful and compassionate care for you while abiding by professional standards that ensure a safe and pleasant experience. I also believe that as a CRNA it is imperative I work in collaboration with your entire health care team to provide excellent care.

Why I entered medicine

I became a nurse anesthetist to advance my practice as an RN and to learn new ways of providing evidence-based medicine. I also understood and appreciated the vigilance required to tailor each anesthetic based on patient-specific needs, and that will always be at the center of my practice.

Community involvement

I participate in the Cycle for Survival event each year in honor of my late friend. The funds raised help support research for rare cancers at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Team Kate does an amazing job each year in raising funds and keeping Katie's memory strong.

Personal interests

I enjoy spending free time with family and friends, running and getting outdoors.
