About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is all about creating a team-oriented, empathetic environment so you are actively involved in your own health care. I treat the whole person, not just the ailment, by recognizing the importance of physical, emotional and mental well-being. This means making sure you understand your conditions and treatment options, as well as empowering you to make informed decisions. Building trust through genuine connection and respect is a priority. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that promotes healing and enhances quality of life.

Why I entered medicine

I am motivated to provide patients with individualized care that helps improve the overall well-being of the community. I do so with clinical expertise and passion, taking great pleasure in making a difference in the lives of the people I care for as well as ensuring the community receives the care and education it needs to live a healthier lifestyle.

Community involvement

Working within a community clinic as part of my health care development has been an incredibly impactful experience. I witnessed firsthand the disparities in access to care and the real-world challenges faced by underserved populations. From assisting with patient intake and basic screenings to supporting health education initiatives, I've gained practical skills while contributing to the clinic's mission of providing essential services. This direct involvement has solidified my understanding of the social determinants of health and reinforced my commitment to advocating for equitable health care access within communities.

Personal interests

I enjoy quality time with my family, traveling, family game nights and watching my kids play sports. I try to incorporate self-care and fitness into our busy schedules to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
