About

Philosophy of care

Being compassionate, understanding and empathetic are fundamentals of my patient-care approach. I am committed to ensuring patients have a positive experience, especially during high-stress situations. I create a comfortable and reassuring environment by treating them as if a part of my own family. I empower patients by building trust, providing education and keeping them well-informed about their health.

Why I entered medicine

I have always found great fulfillment in caring for others. During college, obtaining my EMT certification sparked a deep interest in emergency medicine. I am genuinely fascinated by the complexity of the human body and its remarkable capabilities. It has become my true passion to care for my community members and educate others about their health. I am committed to continuous learning, recognizing that the field of medicine is always evolving.

Community involvement

Since 2016, I have been dedicated to serving in the emergency department as a registered nurse. I actively engage in work committees and thrive on the collaborative spirit of my colleagues.

Personal interests

I absolutely cherish spending quality time with my husband, son and lovable goldendoodle. My ideal day involves a leisurely stroller walk with my son and refreshing iced coffee in hand. As a means of relaxation, I find great pleasure in listening to podcasts, immersing myself in good books, or indulging in a reality TV show.
