About
Philosophy of care
I provide evidence-based, quality emergency care as a thorough, objective listener who focuses on treating the whole person.
Why I entered medicine
In college, and later as a special education teacher, I worked with people with various disabilities and became very interested in the interplay between their genetics and pathophysiology and their lives and learning experiences. That curiosity led me to further education and ultimately a career in medicine. During medical school I fell in love with emergency medicine and, during residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network, discovered my passion for medical toxicology while working with its great mentors and faculty.
Personal interests
I love the outdoors, whether it’s the beach, the mountains, gardening or playing with my kids in the backyard. I enjoy jogging, biking and dining at my favorite restaurants. I have also recently begun to dabble in woodworking. However, most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family.
