About
Philosophy of care
My practicing philosophy is to give my sole attention to the patient in front of me, allowing me to better understand what they are going through and try to make a difference in their life.
Why I entered medicine
I became interested in medicine around the age of 4 while watching a TV program about growing stem cells in a petri dish to “make skin.” From then on, I wanted to be a dermatologist. Through other experiences, mostly in sports, I drifted toward orthopedics. I decided to go to physician assistant (PA) school after college and started working in orthopedics after I graduated.
Community involvement
Since my first daughter was in kindergarten, I have been coaching my children’s soccer and basketball teams.
Personal interests
When I’m not coaching, I enjoy running, lifting weights and rowing. During my downtime I enjoy working with my Cricut. Now that my kids are older, we are starting to travel across the country.
