About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy of care is to put you at ease at a time I know you are probably very stressed about your upcoming surgery. In addition, I believe you have a right to absolutely understand your medical choices and the risks involved. It is my job and responsibility to thoroughly explain the anesthesia I will be providing and make certain you understand.

Why I entered medicine

I entered medical school because I truly enjoyed interacting with and helping other people. I also enjoy challenges in life and continuing to learn even as I get older. Practicing medicine provides me with such opportunities.

Community involvement

I have lived my entire life in the eastern and southeastern parts of Pennsylvania. I was born and raised in Abington, Montgomery County, and went to undergraduate, medical school and residency in Philadelphia. Since residency, I have practiced anesthesiology at various hospitals and outpatient surgery centers in the eastern part of the state.

Personal interests

When not working, my passion is biking, especially on trails. I enjoy multi-day bike trips in Pennsylvania, other states and other countries.
