The Department of Family Medicine at the Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) seeks an outstanding candidate to serve as fellowship director for their newly approved Addiction Medicine Fellowship. This role will be responsible for the continued development and oversight of the addiction medicine fellowship within a community-based academic setting. The individual will work closely with the program faculty and staff to ensure the program delivers high-quality training and education in addiction medicine.
The LVHN Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program is founded on a common commitment to advance the health of communities we have the honor of serving. The care delivery to do this must be culturally proficient, trauma-informed, and patient and community-centered. Furthermore, the learning environment to develop the addiction medicine physician leaders that will innovate future systems in this care delivery must maintain these same principles.
The LVHN Addiction Medicine Fellowship seeks to recruit of a diverse group of fellows committed to training in an innovative training program with an interconnected learning environment. Situated within LVHN, the fellowship provides training that bridges both academia as well as community. Community partnerships and programming enhances the broad training of fellows to create the future leaders in community health.
Our fellowship offers strong experiences across inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings, preparing graduates to manage advanced disease with confidence. Through partnerships with LVHN’s strong specialty departments, fellows will gain the experience to manage substance use disorders and its comorbidities across the lifespan.

The fellowship director will collaborate with leaders within, and external to, the Department of Family Medicine to advance the education of fellows in the field of addiction medicine

Qualifications
- Must be Board Certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine
- A current PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
