Summary
Provides expert level functional knowledge to subordinate workers in producing work deliverables in support of project initiatives in the area(s) of specialization. Develops or modifies procedures to solve complex problems in their area(s) of specialization. Collaborates closely with business and/or functional area(s) to assist the user in defining their needs.

Job Duties

  • Provides software leadership, in area(s) of specialization, on medium to large size projects as required.
  • Maintains understanding of user, project leader, and management direction and meets regularly to review project priorities and scope.
  • Functions as a coach and mentor to team members to achieve workflow standardization and design across the organization.
  • Stays abreast of technological advancements. Researches and recommends new tools and alternatives to improve access and efficiency within the organization.
  • Coordinates and leads others in process of unit, functional, and integration testing
  • Leads discussion in team and departmental committees providing data and system governance
  • Develops, leads/coordinates conventions, standards, and procedures to improve departmental function.
  • Develops and implements strategies and methodologies to meet the future information needs of LVHN.
  • Follows current project management methodology and assures all team members to do the same.
  • Supports Supervisor Payroll Systems with the time and attendance/staffing and scheduling, and analytics systems.
  • Serves as a key resource and subject matter expert for system development, configuration, integration, upgrades, patches, security, and reporting.
  • Assumes a lead role in configuring new and/or maintain ERP changes related to pay codes, special codes, assignment rules for non-union and union colleagues in accordance with policies, special pay programs and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).
  • Actively involved and participate in API Client Connections.
  • Participates in projects such as system processing, customization, optimization of special pay programs and acquisition integration.
  • Partners with Payroll, HR, IT, and/or vendor(s) to ensure data integrity and interfaces are maintained and working as expected.
  • Provide mentoring/training on system setup, maintenance, and enhancements to team members.
  • Lead various projects to collect and provide data for critical business needs and processes, internal/external reporting, auditing, etc.
  • Keeps abreast of vendor upgrades, patches, enhancements, and offerings, partner with project team members serving as a lead in expertise areas.
  • Actively involved and participate in API Client Connections.
  • Participates in projects such as system processing, customization, optimization of special pay programs and acquisition integration.
  • Partners with PR, HR, IT, and/or vendor(s) to ensure data integrity and interfaces are maintained and working as expected.
  • Maintains internal resource documentation of system changes, creates simple and effective documentation of workflow processes and procedures for time and attendance/staffing and scheduling system.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Information Sciences and Technology or Information Management related fields
  • Preferred work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • 7 years Progressive experience in Information Management or Information Technology or
  • 7 years Combination experience of Information Technology, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Healthcare
  • Attention to detail and ability to assess business problems and develop feasible alternative solutions.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and to be self motivated and self disciplined.
  • In depth knowledge of processes of assigned area(s) and applications
  • Effectively deals with multiple and changing priorities.
  • Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision and/or direction.
  • Must be able to visit multiple business and education locations. (Dependent on employment location)
  • Team Leadership.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree Information Sciences and Technology or Information Management related fields
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Operations Experience


Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
