Functions as a fully integrated member in the operations of designated departments. Facilitates resolutions that contribute to business goals, objectives, and network priorities. Provides comprehensive human resource consultation, guidance, and support services to maximize the effectiveness of business and human resource processes impacting the organization and department strategic objectives. Collaborates with HR team on operational issues and delivers services that ensure high level of customer impact and satisfaction.

Job Duties

• Works as a strategic partner with designated departments to incorporate HR expertise to support and maximize departmental performance.
• Provides the advice and support to significantly impact the staffing and retention of staff to support department needs.
• Provides appropriate advice, feedback, and development resources to improve the effectiveness of individuals and teams management performance.
• Applies an understanding of key legal procedures, policies, and practices to protect the interests of the organization and colleagues.
• Collaborates with HR team on operational issues to deliver services that ensure high level of customer impact/satisfaction and contributes to the accomplishment of business goals, objectives, and fundamental priorities.
• Participates in HR key projects to build effective working relationships within the organization.
• Serves as an escalated liaison between colleagues and HR function for their specific topic of expertise.
• Delivers an exceptional colleague experience.
• Provides training to leadership to increase knowledge of effective leadership skills, best practices, and HR competencies.
• Provides expert guidance to leaders in downsizing, integration, and merger reorganizations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in human resources administration, business administration, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience with conflict resolution and
• 4 years of current human resources generalist/business partner experience to include colleague relations consultant, workforce planning, employee engagement, benefits, and compensation or
• 5 years LVHN Human Resources experience.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of labor relations.
• Relate well to all levels of colleagues.
• Strong influencing, analytical, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of conducting investigations and documenting findings. Knows appropriate steps in due process.
• Healthcare acumen and excellent planning skills.
• PHR - Professional in Human Resources HRCI - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or
• SPHR - Senior Professional in Human Resources HRCI - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or
• SCP - Senior Certified Professional SHRM - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or
• CP - Certified Professional SHRM - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

• Master’s Degree in human resources administration, business administration, or a related field.

Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
