Position Overview
LVPG OB/GYN is an enterprise of multiple practices across several counties in southeastern Pennsylvania that serves women’s preventive, gynecological, and obstetric needs. Inpatient care is conducted at 2 Family Birth and Newborn Centers, Cedar Crest (Allentown) and Muhlenberg (Bethlehem) hospital sites, and 2 primary surgical locations at Muhlenberg and 17th Street (Allentown) campuses.

The Director of OB/GYN Ultrasound at Lehigh Valley Health Network will provide leadership as well as clinical and administrative oversite in the areas of program development, program growth, clinical quality, protocol development and uniform application, equipment/personnel needs and ultrasound education. Ideally, the Director of OB/GYN Ultrasound would also be the Director of Ultrasound Education for the OB/GYN Department.

- Over 30 service sites for obstetrics and gynecology in 11 counties serving women’s preventive, gynecologic and obstetrics needs.

Qualifications
- Board Certified
- A current Pennsylvania Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
- Physician trained in obtaining, interpreting and reporting diagnostic ultrasound studies in OB and GYN
- Fellowship training in advanced techniques in OB and/or GYN ultrasound preferred
- Prior experience in conception, execution, administrative oversite and leadership in clinical ultrasound program development
