Receives and stores all food and supplies in the Dietary Department, as well as performing required sanitation duties.

Job Duties

• Assists in daily physical inventory.
• Attends scheduled meetings and in-services.
• Ensures cleanliness of the department's receiving hallway.
• Ensures that merchandise is stored properly.
• Maintains all storage shelves and floor areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Maintains department specifications to ensure proper food and supplies are received.
• Maintains proper sanitation of dinnerware, silverware, and cooking utensils.
• Monitors infection control procedures for dish room, pots area, and carts position on a daily basis.
• Receives all merchandise into the Dietary Department.

• Knowledge of basic mathematical concepts.

Lift over 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 140 lbs. Carry 80 lbs. short distances. Frequent standing/walking, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching overhead.
