Summary

Functions as a member of the clinical care delivery team and provides clinical care to patients. Administers treatments according to specific physician protocols and performs clerical/administrative duties associated with medical practice front desk operations.

Job Duties

  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues with patient comfort, proper coil contact, and adjustments to the coil to relieve any expressed physical discomfort, facial, or cranial pain.
  • Sets up the medical device and monitors all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
  • Administers treatments and provides a safe and therapeutic environment for daily treatment sessions.
  • Administers psychiatric rating scales and assists patients on completion of scales. Enters rating scale results into EHR and reports any significant changes.
  • Completes vital signs on patients after completing the vital sign competency assessment.
  • Records daily session notes and forwards to the supervising physician for review.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Specialized Diploma Medical Assistant
  • 2 years experience in a physician office practice setting.
  • Ability to accept and recognize differences among people.
  • Demonstrates initiative and able to function independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrates the ability to accept and adapt to change.
  • Demonstrates time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, EMR, word processing, and Excel.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Preferred Qualifications
  • CMA - Certified Medical Assistant - AAMA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Physical Demands

Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
