Why should I become a member?
When you’re transported to a hospital by LVHN–EMS West End in an emergency, as a member you won’t have any out-of-pocket expenses. You’ll also be supporting your local ambulance service, which provides care for you, your family and neighbors.
Do I need to purchase a membership if I have health insurance?
Yes, private health insurance and Medicare won’t cover 100% of emergency ambulance services. Unless you’re a member, we’re required to bill you for your portion of a copayment, deductible or remaining balance.
