Parking and valet
Free valet parking
For your convenience, free valet parking is available at LVH–17th Street: 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday
Free and safe parking
Patient and visitor parking is located directly across from the main entrance at 17th and Chew streets. The lot can be accessed from either Chew Street or Liberty Street.

If you have questions or need help finding your way, please stop by our information desk:
- Main entrance lobby – staffed 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday-Friday and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday-Sunday
At our information desk, we will give you clear directions to your patient care destination or provide the room number of where a loved one may be receiving their care. If you get lost along the way, ask any LVHN employee for help. They are happy to help you.
Dining
At Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–17th Street, we offer dining options for your convenience. These include:
Cafeteria
Visit our cafeteria located just off of the main hospital entrance for breakfast and lunch. Enjoy soups, salads, short-order grill and deli items, as well as freshly baked desserts. Takeout items are available throughout the day.
- Daily: 6:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Coffee shop
Located next to the cafeteria, our coffee shop offers hot and cold meals, snacks, beverages and various sundries.
- Daily: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
At-your-request dining service
Between 7 a.m.-7 p.m., patients and visitors can order from a restaurant-style menu in the comfort of their hospital room. Patients’ dietary restrictions are taken into account when the meal is ordered and prepared. To place an order, call 610-402-3663 (FOOD). Your meal will arrive within 60 minutes.
Send a card
We invite you to send a free, personalized card to a loved one who is staying at LVH–17th Street. To do so, please fill out our form, and your message will be printed onto the card you have chosen. It will be personally delivered to your friend or family member in their room.

Pastoral care
At LVH–17th Street, we offer spiritual support and guidance if you need it through our pastoral care department. A chaplain can help you and your family identify the sources of your fears and find strength through your faith, other meaningful value systems or spiritual resources from the community.
If you would like to speak with a chaplain, please call the paging operator at 610-402-8999 and ask for the chaplain on call. If easier, you also can ask your nurse to page us.
Chapels and spiritual services
We offer a quiet place to meditate or pray at each of our hospitals. Chapels also may be used for worship services or small group gatherings. You may add people to the prayer list kept in the prayer book at each chapel.

The LVH–17th Street meditation room is located directly across from the blue elevators on the third floor.
Our worship services
- Nondenominational memorial services take place on the third Monday every other month. Family members and caregivers of patients are welcome to attend this service.
- Services for spiritual renewal and special occasions are available upon request.
Internet access
Free Wi-Fi: To help you stay connected to family, friends and work, Lehigh Valley Health Network provides patients, guests and visitors with free wireless Internet access (Wi-Fi). Free Wi-Fi is available at Lehigh Valley Hospital–17th Street. To access Wi-Fi, you will be prompted to accept the terms of service. Your Wi-Fi access is active for 24 hours. Should you need access the next day, simply reaccept the terms of service. This service is free of charge and there is no limit to the number of times you may register.
