Dedicated heart and sports specialists: Our sports cardiology care team is focused on diagnosing and treating all athletes who may have a heart condition.
Integrated care approach: We treat your heart as well as the rest of your body. In our Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Program, you receive expert care from exercise physiologists, physical therapists, nutritionists and other sports medicine specialists.
Advanced diagnostics
We use the latest heart imaging technology to diagnose potential heart problems in athletes, including:
- Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM): Thickened heart muscle and leaky mitral valve
- Long QT syndrome: Sudden, uncontrollable changes in heart rhythm (arrhythmia) brought on by exercise
- Marfan syndrome: An inherited connective tissue disorder that affects the heart and blood vessels
