On Friday, May 3, more than 40 costumed actors from local fan groups created an out of this world experience for patients and guests at LVH–Cedar Crest and Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital.
The visitors were from local Star Wars fan groups, Kyber Base and Garrison Carida, and they partnered with Sodexo Food Services to make a galactic impact on patients, colleagues and community members alike. They created moments for patients as they surprised them with small gifts and big smiles throughout the hospital. To make it an even more memorable day, the groups performed a dramatic sequence in the LVH–Cedar Crest café to the amazement of passersby.
These guests were a force to be reckoned with, helping everyone they met celebrate May the Fourth one day early. There was no dark side to this event!
