When it comes to vaccine supply and distribution, you deserve up-to-the-minute information. Your health partner, LVHN, is giving you what you deserve. LVHN President and CEO Brian A. Open, honest, transparent communication: It’s something in which we strongly believe and practice at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). As we mark one year in our fight against COVID-19, LVHN remains committed to keeping you informed.
Between weather delays and limited supply, COVID-19 vaccinations have been challenging and frustrating for everyone. To help keep you up to date, LVHN will be sharing information with you in real time so you have the assurance of knowing when vaccine arrives and open appointments are available to you.
LVHN receives vaccine from the state of Pennsylvania, and vaccine supply continues to be limited. As vaccine availability improves, here is how we will share up-to-the-minute information with you.
When LVHN receives a vaccine shipment, people with a MyLVHN account will see an announcement in the portal that appointments are available. We also will post a green alert at the top of our website, LVHN.org, telling you that appointments are available. LVHN typically receives vaccine shipments on Tuesdays when supply is available. Check MyLVHN regularly for the latest announcement.
After learning that appointments are available, people who are in Pennsylvania’s Phase 1A category can schedule an appointment in MyLVHN. Watch a video or read step-by-step instructions here. You also can schedule an appointment by calling our COVID-19 Hotline at 833-584-6283 (833-LVHN-CVD).
Please remember that more than 300,000 people in Phase 1A are waiting to get vaccinated by LVHN. Appointments are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and are taken very fast. At LVHN, we administer the vaccine very fast too, using all the doses we receive within one week.
When all available appointments are filled, people with a MyLVHN account will see an announcement in the portal that appointments are no longer available. We also will post a red alert at the top of our website, LVHN.org, telling you that appointments are not currently available. When we receive a new vaccine shipment, we will post a new announcement about newly available appointments.
As vaccine supply improves, LVHN is ready to go to work for you. We have the experience, technology, resources and capacity to vaccinate up to 30,000 people per week. We are eager to ramp up vaccinations. All we need is the vaccine to get started.
Visit LVHN.org/vaccines for timely information about vaccine availability and distribution, answers to FAQs about vaccine, links to sign up or sign in to MyLVHN and more.
Trust that we will keep you informed when vaccine arrives in our community and when all appointments are filled. That’s the open and honest communication you deserve, and that is what you will get from LVHN, your health partner.
