You're not alone if you've noticed a sudden uptick in the number of chalk drawings around your neighborhood. Across the region and the entire country, families are using the sidewalk as their canvas, and many are doing so to send love and support to health care workers everywhere.
One community member, Heidi, sent us this photo of a particularly uplifting message and said this: "I take many walks through our neighborhood with my daughter and saw this recently. A wonderful show of support, using an art form with a long (and nearly forgotten) tradition."
