Face Masks Optional for Vaccinated Individuals at LVHN Fitness Locations in Lehigh Valley

The improving COVID-19 situation means vaccinated members and visitors at three LVHN Fitness locations in the Lehigh Valley now have the option to go without a face mask in classes and open workouts.

Non-vaccinated members and visitors are still required to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth.

This change applies to these LVHN Fitness locations:

• LVHN Fitness–Cedar Crest, 1243 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown
• LVHN Fitness at One City Center, 707 Hamilton St., Allentown
• LVHN Fitness-Muhlenberg, 1770 Bathgate Blvd.

“We’re updating the mask guidelines while keeping the safety of all LVHN Fitness users in mind,” says Alex Benjamin, MD, LVHN Chief Infection Control and Prevention Officer. “This is a prudent step to take given the circumstances.”

The change does not apply to the Fitness Center at the Health & Wellness Center at Hazleton because masks are mandated at any health care facility, and the Hazleton fitness center is a rehabilitation resource for patients in the community.
